  18. SPRINGHOUSE, PA, June 15, 1994 -- Anderson Financial Systems Inc.
  19. will be demonstrating WriteUp 1.1 and PasteUp 2.5, native NEXTSTEP
  20. word processing and page layout applications, at the Canon booth
  21. at NEXTSTEP EXPO.  Both products are slated to ship at the end of
  22. the month.

  24. WriteUp is a word processor built from the ground up to take full
  25. advantage of NEXTSTEP features like Object Links, filter services,
  26. and drag and drop. Compatibility is assured through standard file
  27. support for RTF/RTFD, WriteNow (on Motorola hardware only),
  28. WordPerfect, TIFF, and EPS.  New features for release 1.1 include
  29. mail merge, document markup (redline/strikeout), columns, an API,
  30. and improved performance and compatibility.

  32. PasteUp is the premier page layout package for NEXTSTEP.  Since
  33. acquiring the software last fall, AFS has fixed all known bugs and
  34. added significant capabilities, such as support for new NEXTSTEP
  35. 3.x features and enhanced document importing. PasteUp 2.5 will give
  36. new users a chance to experience the power and flexibility of
  37. Display PostScript in creating rich documents, and existing users
  38. a reason to dust off their disks and get back to performing real
  39. work with the product.
